AT HORSE RIDING ADVENTURES WE DON’T JUST TAKE YOU ON AN OUTRIDE. WE GIVE YOU AN OPPORTUNITY TO ESCAPE FROM LIFE FOR AN HOUR AND A HALF ON OUR HORSE TRAILS.
For this hour and a half, we take you on a 13km trail through a 150ha farm about 3km outside of Rayton.
The first part of the trail is through a rocky terrain followed by savannah-like fields with nice trees in between . Just on the other side of the fields, nature explodes in all kind of scenes, leaving you in awe of the beauty of Rayton.After the hill, you go through a veld with paths especially made for the horses. If you are lucky you will see warthogs, small antelope and bush partridges flying out of bushes. . Probably the most scenic part of this beautiful farm. This compliment the rest of the rocky hills.
That is when the fun starts.
We now enter a part of the trail with wide open fields and nice paths were horses can come into their own. For those who are willing, we canter for long stretches through the most beautiful piece of veld. At the end of these fields, the path leads through a rocky patch of hills that we go through before taking the way home. If you do the afternoon ride, this is the most beautiful time of day when you literally ride into the sunset.
